My name is Rebecca. I created Volte in June of 2006. Allow me to introduce you to my home away from home.
The United States, New Zealand, Canada, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom - Volte is a world-wide playground for horse lovers just like yourself. The majority of our members are between sixteen and eighteen years old, with the numbers spanning from thirteen to twenty six. Some Volteans have never even ridden a horse while others boast families who've been in the business for years. No matter where you hail from or how much you know about horses, come explore the world of Volte.
It can start when you're seven or twenty-seven - but once you have the bug, you're a goner. You know exactly what I'm talking about - why else are you here? Whether it's the romantic Friesian, the agile Thoroughbred, the powerful Percheron, or all of the above - the equine species captured your heart at some point in the timeline of your life. I remember when it happened to me. My friend trailered a horse to school for show and tell when I was eight years old. Her trainer guided her through simple movements on the playground astride a beautiful, bay Arabian gelding. I was growing up in horse-country - Kentucky - but I'd never seen anything quite like that kind of riding. I drove my poor mother insane for a whole summer before she agreed - I was going to begin riding lessons. And that was it - it's been a decade since that day in the school yard and I've never looked back. That's why, with the invaluable support of my friends, Volte was created.
In the land of Volte, you can invest as little or as much time as you want. The most basic rules of the game revolve around the individual. Your aspirations can be a myriad of things in Volte. Whether it's a single pony or an entire stable, you have something to offer Volte and we're waiting! Come compete, breed, learn, and laugh with us. You won't regret taking the time to get to know Volte. Don't take my word for it, though. Hear what real Volteans have to say about their beloved game..

Kate shares, "It would be impossible to find an online community with more heart, character, and empathy as Volte Sim. The people here are not only friends, they are a family, with a warm, enthusiastic base that will eagerly accept any new member. I have been a member of a handful of SIM games, and none have lasted longer or with more fervor than Volte. This is because of two things: the active atmosphere, which centers on horses; and the warm environment where never a hostile word is spoken. They accept and embrace people of all different character, and thus have an incredibly diverse base filled with loyal long-time members and new members who are always eagerly welcomed. It is practically impossible to feel left out, because the amicable members will always include newcomers. Volte will not only become a forum to explore all kinds of equine activities, it will become a home, filled with friends who will always be there even in the hardest of times."
Erika writes, "Volte is an amazing game, and it's one of my favorites from all of my sim game experience. Volte is extremely realistic and has great members that make joining and playing a whole new ball game. There are plenty of horses for sale to get you started so you don't have to use up all of your create credits immediately, plus many mares and stallions available for breeding. An event that makes Volte superb is the Olympics, a great opportunity for the new members that have good enough horses to become one of the oldies. I give Volte two extremely large thumbs up!"
Clutz reveals, "I have been a member of Volte since July of 2006, and have gotten nothing but happiness and knowledge out of the experience. I was completely new to the world of non-automated horse sims when I joined, but I never felt out of my depth or abandoned, and always felt I could ask older, more knowledgeable players whatever I needed to know. I was prompted to join when I had to leave my real horse behind during a family move. Having lost the finances to care for a real horse, I found myself more and more immersed in the world of “fake” horses. Volte has constantly shown me the good side of this simulated world, with incredibly well-developed horses that members have clearly spent many hours on. The level of realism keeps it satisfying and challenging, and there is enough flexibility and fluidity to allow for members to express their own opinions. The members, the horses, and the world they have created together make Volte a place that will always be incredibly special to me, and I can guarantee that after you get a glimpse of what it’s like, you’ll be hooked, too."
