Registration is $2,000.00 per owner for lifetime registration. Membership to the VSEF automatically qualifies your horses for all level-appropriate, sanctioned events in Volte except invitationals. Please send your check to the VSEF from the bank.
Why do we charge that price?
We have a huge pay out for any horse placing as Champion ($1,000) and Reserve ($500) so this price is partly to cover the purses.
Also, it helps to keep the event facilities up to standard with all the traffic rumbling through at each event. Lastly, it helps us keep out entry fees low.
What are your entry fees per show?
Our costs for entering each show depends on the event holder. Most shows are held at BK Estates and they hardly ever charge an entry fee. Most shows are going to ask for a $50 grounds charge and $25 per horse. Mostly, BK asks for a donation to a certian society, or other Volte members who are in danger of going backrupt. We are always mindful of those people and things in life who can benefit from others who are more fortunate.
How often will trials be held?
We hold at least one horse trial and one three-day-event every month. If we can fit it in the event calendar, we'll host more. It all depends on date availability.
